A Faith Community
We have a passion for basketball and a deep, personal, and intimate relationship with God. We meet regularly to “pray and play” and have “center court conversations” walking this journey of life together.
Together we discover strategies from the playbook of life and encourage each other to practice those strategies daily. We realize when two or three are gathered together, He meets with us, speaks to us, and reveals His purpose for our lives; and as we live out that purpose it brings Him joy.
Why Inner Court?
Inner court in scriptures was the place where heaven and earth connected. It is where God came down to have relationship with people. At the time only a select few could enter the inner court because of God’s glory and humankind’s missing the mark. But God wanted a deeper relationship, so he made a way to remove the barrier between Him and people.
He did this through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through taking on our shortcomings, He broke the barrier separating the inner court from the outer court and became the new place where heaven and earth connect.
Through Jesus we now can enter the inner court and are invited into deeper relationship and fulfill the full purpose God has for our lives.
In sports, those in the outer court would be similar to people who are fans or watch the game from the side lines. People in the inner court would be those who are playing in the game.
God desires everyone to be on His team and play!
